Job Description
As an F10 DAST Material Handling Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating warehouse and receiving operations through ASRS, conveyor systems, RFID tracking, AI-driven analytics, and digital twin technologies. You will support the development and implementation of smart warehouse solutions, including WMS integration, AI-powered receiving automation, and material flow optimization to enable just-in-time delivery and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), conveyor systems, RFID, and AI implementation projects.
  • Assist in achieving outstanding system performance and reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, AI-driven predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the design and integration of receiving automation solutions, including AI-enabled OCR, barcode scanning, and software interfaces.
  • Contribute to WMS integration projects and to the development of AI-powered digital twins for warehouse process simulation and optimization.
  • Develop technical documentation, AI-based data analytics dashboards, and performance tracking tools
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and facilities, on automation projects
  • Promote a Safe and Green Working Environment
  • Understanding or interest in AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing, such as predictive analytics, automated defect classification, or data visualization is preferred.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities, with the ability to build and develop an effective team to tackle equipment operation challenges.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, knowledge on problem solving like 8D, 5 Why analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and personal initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated PROBE internship experience within a semiconductor company.
  • Experience working on projects that align with the key duties of this position.
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
  • Understanding or interest in AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing, such as predictive analytics, automated defect classification, or data visualization is preferred.
  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role - appropriate AI literacy to use AI - enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem - solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.

Skills Required
