Responsibilities:
- Support compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards, including internal operating systems and ISO/IATF requirements
- Demonstrate and promote company core values while working collaboratively within the team
- Assist engineering and production teams in meeting key performance indicators related to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to understand machining processes
- Assist in estimating machining cycle times, tooling, and equipment needs
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and purchasing teams on process development and improvements
- Provide general project and documentation support as needed
Education:
- Currently pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding or strong interest in CNC machining and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a hands-on setting
