Role Summary:

This role involves facilitating continuous improvement implementation at the business level. Shall lead/facilitate cross-functional teams in the application of Continuous improvement tools to achieve process improvements. Accountable for teaching/coaching Lean enterprise methods and integrating with the business to form and execute business improvement plans that deliver tangible benefits to business performance. This role will contribute to build a people-first culture that delivers significant business results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops an OPEX deployment and roll-out plan to support the Plant and Platform business targets.
  • Leads the current state analysis and future state design of processes and identifies improvement opportunities and projects.
  • Supports the plant teams to prioritize, scope the OPEX activities and align these to Plant / Platform objectives.
  • Supports the plants with the OPEX implementation by conducting improvement events / projects (Line functions and working groups are responsible for implementation results)
  • Conducts training on needed methods and tools to support competency building for the workgroups.
  • Conducts coaching and performs assessments to ensure methodologies are applied correctly and deliver results.
  • Supports the Plant Manager in the governance, tracking of implementation actions, results, and ensures timely escalation.
  • Performs plant self-assessments to establish maturity levels; support the plant to implement the action fields.
  • Identifies, documents, and shares best practices with the corporate teams
  • Achieving savings as targeted by platform.
  • Identify, define and Mentor CI Projects in plant.
  • Monitor, track, and report project status
  • Guide teams for executing CI Projects with approach, tools, support and escalate when required.
  • Conduct Op-ex, operational excellence assessment and work for gaps to improve plant performance and achieve CI Objectives
  • Conduct training and organize kaizen events for improvements

Requirement:

  • Typically,10+ Years of industrial experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Operation Excellence / CI
  • College /University degree; top career level performance
  • Six Sigma or LEAN Certified
  • Practitioner of Lean tools including VSM, OFP, Material-flow, Structured problem-solving methodology, OEE, Product-process / machinery matrix, Activity analysis, Future state design, Lean Layouts, FIFO, Kitting process, Shop Floor Management & Office floor management
  • 7 Quality Tool Practitioner (fishbone, 5 Why’s / Ishikawa, Histograms, Control Charts, Pareto Analysis, Scatter Diagrams and Stratification)
  • Experience in Power BI dashboard development
  • Strong Facilitation Experience: Instructional Design is a plus.
  • QMS & EMS knowledge
