The position will support the growing needs of MDG implementations. It includes integrations with SAP TMS, Product compliance and setting the stage for S/4 journey.
What we're looking for:
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP MDG on S/4 and at least 2 end to end implementation cycle experience with configuring SAP MDG
Ability to work on Master Data Consolidation (MDC) and Data Quality Management (DQM)
Experience managing or executing data cleansing, data mapping, and data governance areas, preferably in an SAP environment as well as integration across complex ERP landscapes knowledge/experience of interfacing SAP with legacy systems
Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with business analysts/system analysts.
Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.
Who you are:
Provides configuration and development of MDG for all the processes needed for successful implementation and support
Provides strategic vision of SAP MDG implementation with a thorough understanding of the dependencies from and impact on other enterprise initiatives
Reviews and provides key inputs to SAP MDG Project Plan and detailed tasks
Provides expertise on SAP best practices and making best solution recommendations considering scope, requirements and analysis
Collaborates with Process Leads and Data Leads from client, third party system integrators and SAP for successful completion of joint responsibilities of the project
Support and provide input to MDG Team Members in the development of the processes for Data Cleansing, Data Migration and MDG integration of MDG Data Objects including Material, Business Partner (Customer, Vendor etc) and MDG Financial Objects.
Accountable for the deliverables related to SAP MDG and focus on quality and on-time delivery within agreed estimation
Works with respective team member and/or management to deliver solutions according to requirements defined and prioritized by Avantor business.
Participate in projects and performs design, build, implementation, unit tests, and code review.
Translates functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs; provides estimates for development effort; Implements proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software; writes unit tests; fully documents code; and coordinates with testing requirements from QA/Test.
As needed and according to agile development methodologies, participate in iterative development including sprint planning, daily scrum, release and retrospective meetings.
How you will create an impact:
Experience in design, coding and Implementing SAP MDG for FINANCE, VENDOR, CUSTOMER & MATERIAL
Experience on MDG UI configuration, Standard Data Model/Entity Types enhancement, Custom Data Model creation, FPM UI enhancement, context-based adaptation, customizing & configuration.
Ability to work on migration of existing master data into MDG hub, validations and derivations using BADIs and BRF+
Should have worked on data replication framework (DRF), data import using DIF, SOA service, ALE configuration, key & value mapping knowledge on integrating MDG
Experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming, ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM) and ABAP WebDynpro.
Experience with performance tuning (front-end/back-end)
Experience working in an agile development process
Support business requests ensuring that the organization adopts common approaches in areas where a global perspective and the sharing of integrated systems.
Work flexibly to successfully handle multiple issues and tasks, completing them on time and within budget while exceeding expectations.
Complete understanding of SAP Master Data, systems validation concepts, change control procedures, and full knowledge of both configuration and customization standards are required.
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
