Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles is required.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized platforms; experience with Red Hat OpenShift is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience administering or supporting MongoDB or PostgreSQL platforms deployed on Kubernetes-based environments.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Codefresh, and Git- based workflows.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling (e.g., Helm, Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot distributed systems issues with guidance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.

AI‑Assisted & Agentic Engineering
This role requires comfort working alongside AI‑powered tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment, validation, and accountability for outcomes. Engineers will contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement of AI‑enabled workflows by providing feedback, identifying opportunities for
automation, and safely incorporating AI assistance into repeatable operational patterns. This includes leveraging approved AI tools and agents to assist with platform operations, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and workflow efficiency under established governance and best practices.
Engineers on the INFOPS Application Development team are expected to actively use and support AI‑assisted and agentic engineering workflows as part of their day‑to‑day work.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $71,200 to $100,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

Job Summary
As an Engineer within the Internal WWT IT organization, you will be responsible for analyzing, supporting, and maintaining IT platforms and services owned by the INFOPS Application Development team. This role includes contributing to the day-to-day operation of critical platforms, performing maintenance activities, assisting with platform upgrades, and supporting internal application teams. You will work closely with senior
engineers and partner teams while developing deeper expertise in modern platform engineering technologies.
This role provides hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based platforms and
shared data services that support WWT’s internal application ecosystem, with
continued growth through on-the-job experience, training, and mentorship.
- Assist with the maintenance, operation, and support of GitHub Enterprise, including repository management, access controls, branch policies, and
organization-level configurations used by WWT internal application teams. - Support the development, configuration, and lifecycle management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Codefresh across development, test, and production environments.
- Provide hands-on operational support for Artifactory, including repository management, artifact promotion, cleanup policies, access management, and integration with build and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to the build and maintenance of GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, including application definitions, sync policies, and environment-specific configuration management.
- Support shared developer platform services that application teams integrate with, including GitHub, Artifactory, ArgoCD, and Codefresh, ensuring reliability and availability.
- Assist with system integration efforts to ensure new pipeline configurations and toolchain changes are compatible with existing environments and application team workflows.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for CI/CD and developer tooling issues following established operational procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to pipeline configurations, GitOps patterns, Artifactory setup, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, application teams, and partner engineering groups to understand requirements and implement developer toolchain
- Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance windows with guidance from senior team members.
- Follow agile practices including daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
