Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in deploying advanced repair and inspection technologies.
- Develop automation, coatings, machining, and inspection technologies.
- Determine tolerancing for gas turbine components using data analytics.
- Support senior engineers in reverse engineering and resolving NCNs.
- Maintain repair qualifications for service centers, ensuring compliance.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.
- Engage in Kaizen initiatives to enhance engineering processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Occasional travel (5-10%) to global centers.
- Support development and technical aspects of industrial robot applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- 1-3 years of experience in gas turbine design, repair, or manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel (5-10%) to global engineering and service centers. English and German at a fluent level
- Fluent in English & proficiency in German is expected.
