About the Team:
From Procurement to Finance to IT services and much more, the Quality & Operation Department provides critical support for all of Huawei Canada. About the Job:
Design and develop internal software tools and plugins to streamline and optimize business workflows.
Ability to utilize project management platforms to create and track projects, tasks, key dates and phases from kickoff to deployment.
Collaborate with technical resources on the team for key requirements and development timelines
Align project timelines with scope of work and formalize change management by working with both Development and Operations teams
Manage and host weekly project review meetings, daily status update huddles, project kickoffs and retrospectives where required
Work with managers to coordinate project checkpoints, track weekly meeting minutes and ensure that all action items have been responded to
Act as a central point of contact for all project stakeholders and communicate project status
The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data, or a related field.
Familiar with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and proficient in Python, Java, or other mainstream programming languages; capable of developing and deploying automation tools.
AI Practical Experience: Preference given to candidates with practical experience in leveraging AI tools for project delivery or AI-driven software development.
Highly responsible with excellent communication and coordination skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution.
A fast learner who can quickly master and apply new technologies while staying updated on cutting-edge industry trends.
Ability to work with department heads and developers cross functionally to document necessary requirements and maintain project deadlines
A multi-tasker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
Ability to formulate and prioritize action items to achieve desired project goals
