We are currently looking for an Engineer 2 to join our team in Smyrna, TN.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Identify and investigate engineering issues potentially impacting safety and/or regulatory compliance by analyzing cross functional data sources with Safety Data, Product Safety, Technical Compliance, and Field Quality Investigations team.
  • Investigate incidents with data analysis, part collection and testing, or vehicle-level incident investigation (on-site or scramble to customer location).
  • Support handover of complete investigations to the Vital Issues team for TM/TC process
  • Report investigation status weekly to FQA management.
  • Regular collaboration with cross functional groups for issue investigation including but not limited to R&D, FQI, PQE, NML, CQ0 and CC0.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering field
  • Experience:1-3+ years of directly related professional-level Engineering experience.
  • Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Access, etc.
  • Ability to perform work onsite at Field Quality Center, Smyrna, TN.
  • Travel requirements (Remove if not needed)
