Roles and Responsibilities
- Support projects with global key stakeholders from manufacturing, assembly, and test operations to develop solutions that support and enable engine delivery.
- Evaluate and help resolve non-conformances and producibility issues using sound engineering judgment.
- Support improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through process and product improvements.
- Work with design, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers to address technical and production issues.
- Help identify and implement actions to reduce manufacturing losses, improve part flow, and increase producibility.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for existing products and help execute short-term improvement plans.
- Use engineering tools, data, and standard processes to analyze problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Help build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support reliable delivery performance.
- Manage assigned tasks and small to medium projects with guidance, meeting technical, quality, and schedule commitments.
- Clearly communicate technical information, status, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Continuously build knowledge of manufacturing processes, hardware configuration requirements, and product design intent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Some engineering experience in manufacturing, production, design, quality, or industrial operations.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to solve technical problems using structured thinking and sound engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic project management and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with engineering analysis tools such as FEA/ANSYS is a plus.
