Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of engine log sheets and other process documentation. Responsible for all record retention of required documents
- Complete First Article Inspection documentation for NPI engines, process changes, and requirement changes
- Use problem solving tools and root cause corrective action analysis to reduce test defects and cell downtime
- Collaborate with the broader LATO quality team on improving engine quality and reducing defects
- Assist in investigations related to test quality escapes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience
Desired Characteristics
- GE Aerospace Preliminary Review (PR) authority
- Material Review Board (MRB) Quality Chair Authority
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience in the aerospace industry
- Basic understanding of jet engine operation
