As an Engine Sales Manager, you will be expected to generate prospects, formulate work scope specification, and finalize the sale through direct customer interactions, strategic marketing, and personal contact. You will serve as a primary corporate representative responsible for the sale of assigned products (PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW150) and services within specific market segments and/or specified geographic regions: ON, QC, NB, NS, NFLD, PEI.
What you’ll do:
- Meeting financial and individual volume goals (P&L) are achieved by managing the business for assigned product line(s). This includes managing opportunities in SalesForce.com and with customers directly, managing and maintaining accurate quotes, controlling expenses, addressing customer service needs, and maintaining high closing rates to win work.
- Maintains a high level of involvement in all aspects of the sales process. Is responsible for identifying and creating opportunities (RFQs) for assigned product line(s), driving collateral growth, and closing opportunities.
- Works closely with site management, production and scheduling departments to ensure a complete and accurate proposal and smooth transition from customer to production handoff.
- Conducts sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, zoom, and email.
- Monitors sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory.
- Responsible for assisting in forecasting of aircraft maintenance for specific product line(s) including PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW150
- Provides input for development of annual sales plan for assigned product line(s).
- Maintains high visibility in industry through involvement with trade association events, customer events, and supplier sales events.
- Expands sales within assigned territory by joining and maintaining relationships with regional aviation groups.
- Supports development of appropriate marketing strategies and materials that contribute to successful sales campaigns for assigned areas of focus.
- Responds promptly to inquiries and provides proposals or options for service and/or sales required to meet customers’ needs. Expedites the resolution of customer problems/complaints.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
