Responsibilities

Mechanics, Develop and Integrate Engine & Mechanics teams 

  • Lead the end-to-end process of Testing and integrating sub systems.
  • Lead the Mechanics and integration of engine components, including transmission and clutch systems. 
  • Define product specifications for diverse operating conditions (Indian and global markets). 
  • Perform preliminary engineering calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) for structural integrity, fatigue life, thermal management, and vibration. 
  • Collaborate with simulation teams to validate Mechanics assumptions and optimize performance. 
  • Develop innovative concepts to meet future customer requirements and improve durability (B10 life). 

Plan & Monitor Development Projects 

  • Manage Mechanics workflows, timelines, and resource allocation for engine development projects. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to resolve technical issues promptly. 
  • Prepare and present Mechanics reviews, technical specifications, and validation reports. 
  • Work closely with testing and calibration engineers to interpret results and implement Mechanics iterations. 
  • Define and execute Mechanics Validation Plans (DVP&R) for rig, engine, and vehicle-level testing. 
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failures and implement corrective actions


Sustaining Engineering - Meeting Customer Requirements

  • Lead resolution of field failures and implement continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Address production-related technical concerns effectively. 
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Mechanics-related issues in existing or new products. 
  • Stay updated on emerging engine technologies, materials, and advanced manufacturing techniques. 
  • Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance without compromising quality. Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance.
Qualifications

Key Competencies & Qualifictaion:

  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Ability to solve complex engineering problems with precision.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • 3 to 8 year of experience
  • Leadership: Proactive, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
