Job Description

Role Summary:

• Participate in Invesco’s Gen AI Federation program to contribute hands on code delivery to support the development of Invesco’s internal GenAI powered IVYGPT platform and approved business use cases.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demos and share, collaborate and ideate on technical requirements with other full-stack engineers in the EMEA region.
• Responsible for software code and feature development, coding, and continuous product iteration, testing and optimization based on user feedback and business value.
• Collaborate and work across various technical teams to resolve technical impediments (security, compliance, architecture, etc.) following agile principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly contribute code as a full-stack engineer to support the feature delivery based on business needs, product designs, and approved use case applications in the APAC region.
• Collaborate with product owners to size, scope, and plan complex technical tasks. 
• Part of a team of full stack developers that is engaged in hands-on coding, peer reviews testing etc. 
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality, standards, and functionality. 
• Develop and collaborate with other full-stack engineers and Product Owners to develop prototypes and perform technical validation based on product requirements prioritized by the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 2+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Must be proficient in Python, React(incl. ReactJS like Piral) , FastAPI(and other REST-based frameworks) . Experience with developer tools including Git, Docker, and BitBucket.
• Hands-on experience and technical knowledge in cloud-native development patterns, specifically Kubernetes, Helm chart deployment, Serverless (Lambda), library and package management, JWT-based security, and experience with AWS & Azure cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Microservices, Micro Front-End Architecture and NodeJS/NestJS.
• Strong skills in NoSQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL) and data warehousing (Snowflake).

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on coding and delivery of cloud-native microservices/micro-UI architecture patterns. 
• Experience in Gen AI software development is preferred including standard frameworks and tools such as LangSmith, LangChain, Pinecone, and Azure Cloud Services are preferred.

• Familiarity with Gen AI developer suite of software development tools and an understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning and Azure Cloud.
• Experience in independently completing the full software product lifecycle development.
