The Role

Description

Capgemini is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engagement Manager to lead our client engagement initiatives and drive successful project delivery.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, overseeing project teams, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will act as the primary point of contact for our clients and will work closely with them to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions that meet their business objectives.

As an Engagement Manager, you will also play a critical role in developing new business opportunities, facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead client engagements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders, communicating project status and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies in project management.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to foster growth within the organization.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Engagement Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in a consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client engagements and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and project teams.
