Engagement Manager
Do you get a thrill out of turning a happy client into a bigger client? Can you sit across from a VP who's unhappy about a missed milestone and walk out with the relationship stronger than before? Do numbers like margin, ARR, and pipeline value actually excite you, not just make your eyes glaze over?
Then, our Engagement Manager role here at CUBE84 may interest you.
In this gig,
1. You're the reason accounts grow, not just survive
You look at every existing client and see the next opportunity — a team extension they haven't asked for yet, a module they don't know they need, a business unit two floors up nobody's talked to. You partner with client execs to understand where they're headed and map our services against that, then turn it into real SOWs, RFP responses, and pitches that close.
2. You're the person the C-suite actually wants on the call
When a Director, VP, or CXO has a concern, you're the first name they think of — not because you're the loudest voice in the room, but because you're the one who tells them the truth and follows through. You run the MBRs and QBRs that make delivery value visible, and you spot a flight-risk account before it shows up as a churn number.
3. You keep one eye on delivery and one eye on the P&L
You're not running the sprints, but you know exactly how they're going — milestones, SLAs, quality, all of it — because you're partnering closely with PMs and Tech Leads to keep projects honest. At the same time, you're watching margin, utilization, and budget health like they're your own money, because on this account, they kind of are.
4. You negotiate like the relationship matters more than the deal
You lead contract renewals, MSA conversations, and pricing adjustments in a way that gets CUBE84 paid fairly without making the client feel squeezed. You know the difference between a client pushing back because they're testing you and one pushing back because something's genuinely broken.
5. You translate "tech" into "business impact" without breaking a sweat
Cloud, DevOps, AI, custom software — whatever we're selling, you can explain why it solves the business problem the client actually cares about, not just the one on the RFP cover page. You're as comfortable in a whiteboard session with an architect as you are in a boardroom with a CFO.
It'll be awesome if you...
Have 10+ years of overall experience, including 5–7+ years specifically in IT professional services, tech consulting, or IT account management, with a track record of hitting expansion/upsell targets (this one's non-negotiable)
Have led SOW creation, RFP responses, or commercial pitches for account growth — not just supported them
Have owned senior client relationships (Director/VP/C-level) as the primary point of escalation and trust
Understand commercial frameworks well enough to talk margin, utilization, and resource billing without needing someone else in the room
Have led contract renewals or MSA negotiations, including pricing strategy conversations
Can present to and influence C-suite stakeholders — technical and non-technical alike
More awesome, if you have
