The Sales Support & Operations Analyst partners with our Solution Sales Operations team to provide support through the sales process and ensure smooth and effective operations. They strive to ensure the Provider Growth organization can maximize their time selling by streamlining sales processes and working in alignment with the Solution Sales Operations team to support the Provider team's growth objectives.
Optum Provider Growth Deal Support - Partner with Solution Sales Operations team to support business activities and sales cycle around deals.
- Partner with Solution Sales Operations (SSO) to assist with ad hoc deal support requests including prepping client or internal materials, auditing process adherence, and working with internal teams.
- Promote consistent process and ensure standards for deal flow are met when assisting with all requests
- Facilitate internal navigation and timely execution from matrix partners supporting the deal, at key milestone points within the deal cycle
- Work effectively in Salesforce to ensure strong deal hygiene.
Operational Support: - Optimize existing sales processes and remove barriers to success to ensure Sales team members are set up for success.
* Completion of Sales team requests through the Provider Support Inbox as needed.
* Support tracking key steps and milestones in the deal flow process. Work with Sales Support Operations team to identify outlying or unresolved steps using documents like the Scoping Call Dashboard.
* Salesforce data hygiene as relevant to focus areas.
* Identify gaps in current processes, identifying inefficiencies, or barriers and suggest improvements.
* Create and monitor product process consistencies to help in driving a more effective approach of the sales process
Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience• 3+ years of project management experience, sales, client management, client support or market research experience• Experience working in a matrixed team environment• Demonstrates strong customer service ethic• Demonstrates excellent communication and listening skills• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities• Prior background working in the US healthcare industry• Proficient in SmartSheets
