Job Description- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the SAP IS-U development team
- Design and implement complex SAP IS-U solutions tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of SAP IS-U modules
- Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards in all technical deliverables
- Mentor and coach junior team members on SAP IS-U technologies and methodologies
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP IS-U implementations
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends
- Liaise with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide expert advice
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Up to 10 years of experience in SAP IS-U development and solution architecture.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP and SAP development tools.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to Utilities (e.g., CCS, FICA, DM).
- Proven experience in solution design and problem-solving for complex environments.
- Familiarity with the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR compliance.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
- Understanding of local energy market regulations in Portugal.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
