Overview of Role

NXP is seeking an experienced Product Marketing engineer to join our team to drive market and business growth of our 48V and Electrification products. The successful candidate will be responsible for product marketing, winning key customers, developing third-party networks, and market and business growth strategies. The selected Marketeer will be part of a global team working with Product Definition, Systems & Applications, Design, Commercial  Marketing and global sales  teams.

Primary  Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategies including Go-to-market, customer Design-In/Design Win targets,  and market and revenue growth for the assigned product  segment(s).

  • Create compelling product promotion tools and collateral including presentations, white papers, webinars, videos, and social media posts that drive successful launch adoption of product.

  • Directly engage with customers and NXP Sales to ascertain market needs, assess competition, validate product value proposition, and market /customer pricing strategies.

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, operation teams to synthesize, develop & execute product roadmaps and product development plans.

  • Support internal demand forecasting processes, customer product sampling, price quoting and portfolio management.

  • Drive training of global sales and FAE teams to enable effectively promotion of product solutions through articulating value proposition and product  definition,

  • Develop global partnerships to enable 3rd party customer support and services

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS degree or higher degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.  An MBA degree is a plus.

  • A minimum 6 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, product management, or business development within semiconductors or embedded systems.

  • Knowledge and experience with analog, power management, isolated gate drivers, or power electronics (WBG) products or applications.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive products, systems (traction inverters, OBCs eFuses, PDUs, zonal controllers), technologies and trends (e.g. Electrification, ADAS, SDV, 48V Energy Networks) and global automotive customers desired.

  • Good business acumen with the ability to analysis markets, applications, and systems in order to  develop strategic market promotion and

  • . Communicates clearly and concisely in customer situations, product roadmap reviews, and during management and executive discussions.

  •  Takes end-to-end ownership to drive and deliver results, while still being collaborative across a global team.

  • Able to prioritize and manage tasks and deliverables, even in an ambiguous and dynamically changing environments.

  • Displays depth of thought, brings structured and rigorous reasoning to product and strategy decisions with speed and clarity
