As Energy Execution Manager, you will lead the execution of energy infrastructure projects across multiple European markets from detailed design through construction, commissioning, and handover to Asset Management. The initial focus is solar PV delivery through local third-party project managers, with potential future expansion into behind-the-meter battery energy storage systems. Reporting to the Director, Energy Solutions Execution, you will partner with internal engineering and asset management teams and coordinate external project managers, EPC contractors, technical advisors, utilities, authorities, and customers. The role adds value by applying consistent project controls while adapting delivery to local requirements so projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Prologis quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead renewable energy projects from detailed engineering, permitting, and utility interconnection through construction, commissioning, and handover to Asset Management.
Coordinate local third-party project managers across multiple European countries, applying consistent project controls while incorporating local expertise and requirements.
Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality, compliant work on schedule and within budget.
Own project scope, schedule, budget, risk, milestones, change orders, technical documentation, reporting, commissioning, and close-out, resolving issues proactively.
Coordinate with utilities, authorities, customers, and internal engineering and asset management teams to secure permits, interconnections, approvals, and timely decisions.
Support procurement and technical review activities, including equipment sourcing, contractor selection, subcontractor prequalification, engineering designs, technical specifications, and value engineering.
Lead vendor and customer meetings, maintaining clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and successful project handover.
Building blocks for success
Required:
5+ years of experience managing commercial renewable energy or complex construction projects.
Experience delivering multi-site projects across multiple countries and managing EPC contractors.
Technical experience with solar PV project execution, grid connections, and utility coordination.
Experience applying European permitting, grid, and construction requirements to project delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
Professional fluency in English.
Ability to travel across Europe for approximately 25–30% of working time.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with battery energy storage systems, microgrids, or industrial EV charging solutions.
Proficiency in an additional European language.
Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
