2. Main accountabilities and responsibilities
- Implementation of esave Best Practices
- Project management and execution of SBT/Energy Saving investment projects
- Developing and deploying resource efficiency culture within the site/region
- Ensure solid onboarding and training routines in respect of energy savings
- Perform regular energy awareness sessions and ensure site/region level understands energy costs and losses
- Manage energy related certification work for site/region (e.g. ISO)
- Scout and apply for local and regional subsidies for relevant projects
- Act as a counterpart to the global Sustainability / esave networks
- Keeping updated knowledge of local/region energy related legislation
- Methodic and strategic energy reduction planning. Ownership of execution and results
- Ensure that Essity corporate standards are considered and executed in alignment with Central functions
- Lead local/regional energy related networks
- Proper stakeholder management required – ensure that relevant information will be shared within site/region
3. Experience and qualification requirements
- University Degree or equivalent within relevant practice
- Experience in manufacturing operations
- Project management skills
- Cultural savvy and proven practice of leadership
- Ability to turn theory into practice
- Ability to act as a team player and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to lead teams
Technical/specialized knowledge
- Functional knowledge: In depth knowledge of technical and business disciplines required, specifically in saving energy, in De-inking, Papermaking and Converting; renewable energy, steam and electrical systems, thermodynamics
- Business expertise: In depth knowledge of industry; understanding of total value chain; profound practical experience in applying continuous improvement processes and corresponding metrics to organizations
- Leadership: Ability to influence and motivate staff, managers and employees framed by SCA´s leadership capabilities
- Problem solving: Drives world class continuous improvement principles in developing people
- Communication skills: Skilled communicator with excellent influencing skills; External or internal relations with Site management teams and global functions
