Energy Data Analyst – Energy Data Management

Location: Budapest, Hungary

World Fuel is looking for a detail-driven and collaborative Energy Data Analyst to join our Budapest-based team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment, supporting energy data operations for major clients across North America.

Your Role

As an Energy Data Analyst, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of energy data and invoices. You’ll work across multiple platforms, collaborating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and deliver high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and usage data daily into internal systems.

• Review and resolve discrepancies in supply, pipeline, and utility invoices.

• Generate client reports and supporting documentation using World Kinect systems.

• Collaborate within the data management team to share and balance workload.

• Participate in software testing and provide feedback for system improvements.

• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate with suppliers and utilities to resolve errors promptly.

• Track and report value-added outcomes on the Client Scorecard.

• Analyze complex energy contracts and invoices to ensure accuracy.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience handling high volumes of data in academic or professional settings.

• Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
