Position Summary:
The Endpoint Applications Specialist is responsible for evaluating, customizing, implementing, administering, and providing Tier 3 (subject matter expert) support for all core firm endpoint applications and their upgrades. This includes Microsoft Office 365 products and add-ins, PDF software, document productivity tools, SaaS applications, and team assigned applications across the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate, deploy, manage, and support assigned applications at the enterprise level.

Create project plans, set schedules, and execute application rollouts and upgrades.

Perform product and system analyses/testing and present recommendations to management.
-
Reconfigure or customize applications as needed to satisfy user requirements.

Work with clients, other specialists, and system engineers to address system/application issues or enhance workflow procedures.

Prepare all documentation for assigned projects including user and business requirements.

Communicate product updates and technical specifications to diverse audiences within the GT environment.

Maintain and further develop in-house macros, customizations, and tools.

Create low code process flows using industry standard robotic process automation (RPA) tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and UIPath.

Provide Tier 3/subject matter expert (SME) support for all core applications assigned to the team.

Create and deliver presentations to various audiences as assigned by the Endpoint Applications manager.

Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Endpoint Applications Manager.
Skills & Competencies:

Ability to take an assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to build effective internal and external client relationships.

Strong knowledge and experience working with document management systems, document comparison/metadata applications, and legal macro packages; as well in the registry and maintaining group policy.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat detection, risk management, and data protection.

Basic understanding of AI, its risks and implementation. Familiarity with Copilot for M365 a plus.

Familiarity with project management processes with an emphasis on managing multiple projects, assessing priorities, and achieving solutions under deadlines.

Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic.
Qualifications & Prior Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience.

A+, Net+, Microsoft Office User Specialist Certifications a plus.

Minimum two years’ experience in applications testing, configuration, deployment, administration, and support.

Expert technical knowledge in the use, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft 365 Applications.

Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office document creation and recovery.

Familiarity with tools such as firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.

Experience developing and maintaining proprietary solutions written in VBA, VB.NET, and C# using Microsoft Visual Studio.

Familiarity with automation languages such as VB, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and JSON a plus.

Comfortable working with SQL Query Language to query and manage SQL databases.

Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
