Endoscopy
Monday-Friday: Full time, 40 hours
As the Endoscopy Assistant I, you will assist nursing staff and physicians with patient care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. As well as clean, disinfect and perform routine maintenance on endoscopic equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support patient flow in the Endoscopy unit, including escorting and assisting with gowning and mobility post-sedation
  • Aid in patient admission, discharge, monitoring in recovery, and IV removal under RN supervision
  • Clean and restock procedure rooms, manage linens, and assist with patient education before and after procedures
  • Set up procedure rooms per physician preferences and perform rigorous cleaning and maintenance of endoscopic equipment
  • Conduct equipment quality control checks and help orient new Endoscopy Assistants to departmental protocols

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Proven ability to communicate in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Proven solid interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize activities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in medical assisting or graduate of certificate program
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
  • CPR certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.91 to $28.88 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
