Job Summary

The Smilist is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Endodontist to join our team in Massapequa Park. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence: Perform a full range of endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and surgical interventions as required.
  • Collaborative Care: Partner closely with General Dentists and other clinical leadership to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and patient records within our practice management system.
  • Patient Experience: Educate patients on their endodontic health and treatment options, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care journey.
  • Operational Compliance: Adhere to all organizational hiring policies, credentialing requirements, and healthcare laws to maintain the highest standards of practice.
Requirements
  • Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Specialization: Completion of a formal Endodontic specialty residency program.
  • Licensure: An active and unrestricted New York State dental license.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with both patients and referring general dentists.
