Summary
End User Sales is a key growth area within the business therefore we need to implement a bridge between the lead generation team and sales account managers. This new Business Development Executive role will sit within the sales team and this will serve as the anchor to ensure fully developed sales opportunities
This role is designed to find new business opportunities within customer accounts, fulfil requirements, work with the sales and other teams to fulfil larger/complex requirement and develop the customer into a managed account. Once the account meets a certain criterion for a ‘managed account’, it is passed over to an account manager who takes over the relationship.
Within the role, you will aim to create net new business from our future accounts and redevelop business relationships from our current accounts, building your own allocated data. You will own the relationship with these accounts, manage day-to-day sales, and escalate larger opportunities to the account management team
As a BDE you will have two primary KPIs. A dedicated monthly gross profit target which you can meet/exceed by serving the day to day requirements from your allocated data set & other inbound avenues. Alongside this you will have and a second gross profit target which is delivered when the larger/complex opportunities are closed by the account managers.
Although this role is within the End User Sales division, you will be expected to sell Techbuyer’s full offering: End User, new enterprise, trade and buy back. The KPIs will be set across all areas but heavily weighted within End User to begin with.
You will be tasked with understanding the full Information Technology needs of each end user, building peer-to-peer relationships across the customers and prospects, and correctly positioning the whole portfolio of Techbuyer’s products, services and enterprise solutions.
You will be expected to manage your own time, work with both the pre- and post-sales technical architects to help designing solutions that meet your customer’s unique business needs whilst gaining support and expertise from your peers, internal resource and from our Vendor and Distribution relationships. Key vendors (but not limited to) that you will be working with would include HPE, VMware, Veeam, AWS and Microsoft.
