OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and support the end-user computing environment, including Intune, Entra ID, and SCCM. The End User Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of end-user devices and applications, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience. This role will also involve collaboration with various departments to support business needs and improve overall IT operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and manage end-user computing solutions utilizing Intune, SCCM, and Jamf.
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using Entra ID.
- Configure and maintain endpoint management solutions, including device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, patching, and device configurations.
- Perform and monitor patching, compliance checks, and configuration hardening for end-user devices. Report metrics to manager.
- Regular review of upcoming patches and hardening to ensure proper implementation and security.
- Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software.
- Recommend solutions for end-user computing utilizing current and emerging technologies.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential attacks through end user devices to ensure the security of the system.
- Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
- Perform root cause analysis on failed components or incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
- May have sole responsibility for end user related projects
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Create knowledge base articles to support internal processes and end-user troubleshooting.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the IT End User Support Manager
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Technical background in end user compute and engineering.
- Experience in Entra ID utilizing Single Sign-On (SSO), Enterprise Apps, and Conditional Access.
- Experience in MDM tools like Intune, SCCM, and Jamf.
- Experience with migrating from SCCM to Intune is a plus.
- Familiarity with Patch My PC for third-party patching is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors is a plus
JOB EXPECTATIONS

- Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant.
- This is an in-office position, requiring regular attendance in our Brookfield office.
- Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
- Work with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provide back-up support as necessary.
- Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap to ensure the success of the branch team.
