An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join a dynamic support team, working in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for phone, email and in-person support of the ASX End User Compute and Audio Visual environment, while also delivering service improvements to drive greater efficiencies in this area.
 

Your team

The Workplace Technology team is a dynamic support team that provides a single contact point for ASX Staff that are seeking End User Computing and Meeting Room technical assistance or support. Working in a small team that is responsible for phone, email, logged tickets and in-person support for all level 1 and 2 tickets for our end users.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide end to end support for IT requests raised via phone, email, ticketing system and in-person
  • Responsible for IT asset management of laptops, build, deploy and end of life management
  • Responsible for queue management of Workplace Tech team ticket queue
  • Ensure requests are logged accurately within the internal ticketing system (ServiceNow) for reporting and fault analysis
  • Action requests within appropriate time frames
  • Perform installation and technical support of hardware and software to ASX staff
  • Problem Management for general and major faults
  • Support of Audio-Visual systems, meeting rooms and event facilities
  • The role requires some out of hours work and has a rostered On-Call component
  • The role is flexible but primarily based on-site at the ASX office in the Sydney CBD.  Additional support for an office at Gore Hill, as well as remotely across offices in Australia and internationally could also be periodically required.

Your experience and qualifications:

Must have

  • Provision of excellent customer service and support to stakeholders at all enterprise levels
  • Good understanding life cycle management including provisioning, leasing and returns
  • Support, administration and management of key enterprise platforms including:
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Windows 11
    • Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
    • Microsoft Exchange Online administration
    • Remote connectivity/VPN
  • Experience identifying trends and root cause of problems
  • In depth technical understanding of Microsoft software and operating systems
  • Strong experience supporting laptops, desktops and mobile devices
  • Experience supporting a broad range of corporate, financial and development applications and platforms

Nice to have

  • ITIL certification
  • Practical experience managing Intune Policy
  • Application packaging/deployment skills
  • Support of Virtual Machine environments
