The Employee Experience technology organization at Nordstrom is seeking an End User Computing Engineer 1 to join their team!

Supporting Corporate Services/Endpoint Platform Services, the End User Computing Engineer drives results and is responsible for building, configuring, and securing Windows and Mac endpoints at Nordstrom to enable teams to be productive in delivering their services.

A day in the life…

  • Drive end user experience goals and initiatives for on-going end user productivity improvements

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues with technical assistance from internal resources, vendors, and technical IT management

  • Actively contribute and groom the knowledge repository for technical documentation

  • Perform automation for systems administration tasks using scripting

  • Perform and automate configuration management tasks

  • Identify performance issues and optimize solutions

  • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

You own this if you have…

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent education and experience required

  • 1+ years’ experience with end user computing technologies within a complex organization including development, implementation, and support

  • 2+ years’ experience with PowerShell

  • Experience with all supported Windows server and workstation operating systems

  • Experience with macOS, iOS and Android

  • Experience with supporting Microsoft technologies including but not limited to AD, DNS, GPO, IIS, SQL

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager (e.g., MEM, ConfigMgr, Intune, SCCM)

  • Familiarity with cloud computing providers and offerings (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)

  • Familiarity with virtualization providers and offerings (e.g., VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD)

  • Understanding of source version control systems (e.g., Gitlab, GitHub)

  • Understanding of industry standard monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, PowerBI, SCOM)

  • Understanding of security protocols and standards

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $88,500 - $162,500 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
