Leidos and the 363rd ISRW/361st ISRG is calling on a dynamic, forward-thinking professional to step into the role of Emulator Technical Lead (TSO / 1A8X2) and Airborne Cryptologic Certification Training (ACCT) Mode Instructor at Hurlburt Field, FL. This is your opportunity to become the go-to subject matter expert on our Tactical Systems Emulator (TSE) and DSO Systems Emulator (DSE) platforms. You’ll spearhead the creation of innovative training requirements, develop immersive courseware, and integrate advanced emulator scenarios into subordinate unit training programs—all while enhancing the capabilities of our aircrew through crucial mode instructor upgrades.
What You'll Own
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Inspire Your Team: Lead and mentor Leidos team members with vision and integrity.
- Drive Performance: Conduct personnel feedback sessions and manage appraisals that set new standards for excellence.
- Engage Stakeholders: Interface directly with customers, ensuring their needs shape our mission’s evolution.
- Handle Key Admin Tasks: Oversee time card approvals and compile monthly status report inputs, keeping the engine running smoothly.
Technical Mastery & Innovation
- Collaborate & Create: Work closely with DOT and XP (Central Requirements Manager) to test and evolve our current TSE/DSE systems while designing the roadmap for future enhancements.
- Liaise for Impact: Act as the technical bridge between our vendors, the 361 ISRG, subordinate unit DOs, and tactical teams to weave training and operational trends into every update.
- Streamline Administration: Support TSE/DSE Program Managers across subordinate squadrons by maintaining robust administrative and security protocols.
- Educate & Empower: Develop and manage comprehensive training for system users, ensuring local administrators and teams are always at the forefront of technological advances.
- Hands-On Technical Leadership: Engage in system configuration, hardware/software maintenance, application updates, security protocols, and rigorous auditing processes to guarantee operational readiness.
- Shape the Future: Assist in crafting and refining squadron training programs and Programs of Instruction (POIs) that hone new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), contributing directly to our evolving curriculum and courseware initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational & Professional Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of related experience (additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Operations Expertise: Proven experience with TSO and/or DSO operations, and hands-on experience as a Tactical Systems Emulator facilitator, developer, and Mode Instructor Evaluator.
- Aircrew & SIGINT Proficiency: Aircrew experience—ideally with a background in operating SIGINT systems and related equipment.
- Clearance & Certification: Current TS/SCI security clearance and maintain DoD 8570.1 Information Assurance Manager (1AM) Level I Certification.
- Domain Knowledge: A strong grasp of intelligence collection processes and SIGINT collection capabilities.
- Communication & Multitasking: Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and deliver quality products under tight deadlines.
