EMS Provider
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an EMS Provider. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, and contractors in any and all Kalahari owned and/or managed resort property while on duty; applying life-saving skills and first aid to any person(s) who is in need.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure a safe and reassuring environment by responding quickly and professionally to medical needs. Your presence will give both guests and associates peace of mind, knowing help is immediately available so everyone can focus on enjoying and delivering a great experience.
This position is PRN – no guaranteed minimum hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to any guests, associates, vendors, and contractors who are in need quickly and efficiently.
- Fully understand and comply with all Federal, State, County, Municipal and applicable licensing body regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of waterpark outlets/venues, associates and guests.
- Make sure all incident reports are filled out properly and that all guest injuries are checked on with the proper Kalahari protocol.
- Manage and stock all first aid kits throughout the resort and inspect for a clean and safe environment at least once per shift.
- Maintain communication about on-going incidents with Corporate EMS & Safety Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Current First Aid Certificate required including Oxygen usage and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
- Must have current EMT (basic, Intermediate, Paramedic) State Registry.
- Lifeguard certification would be a plus. Experience working in a large resort or recreational/waterpark venue is helpful.
- This position regularly requires evening, weekend and holiday work.
