EMS Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an EMS Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for employees and for guests of Kalahari Resorts. You’ll respond to and document guest injuries as well as perform post-incident investigations.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure prompt, professional emergency response and maintain high standards of health and safety across the resort.
This is an Hourly full-time position, with various work hours and days, based on Resort's occupancy and special events. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the resort EMS department.
- Conducting investigations of accidents, close calls and other safety related incidents occurring with guests and/or associates in conjunction with safety leadership.
- Ensure all Guest and Associate incident reports are being completed in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
- Manage incident report documentation files. Ensuring each is well documented and consistent with standards.
- Assist with the production of documents when requested by the corporate claims department.
- Complete guest follow ups after an incident.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Virginia EMS license (minimum EMT-B) required.
- Valid BLS AHA CPR card required.
Preferred Requirements
- 5+ years’ of experience in EMS preferred.
- At least 1-2 years in a supervisory position preferred.
- Valid NREMT preferred.
- AHA Instructor, stop the bleed, OSHA, NIMS certifications, preferred.
