We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Help Desk Intern to join our Clinical Informatics Support (CIS) team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) support within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting back-end EMR issues.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Support the CIS team in maintaining and updating CIS documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of onboarding/offboarding employees.
  • Participate in CIS projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of computer services, such as password resets and Office 365.
  • Foundational knowledge of technology and automation

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and clinical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
