Position Details
The Employment Training Specialist (ETS) actively supports competitive employment as a primary outcome for Consumers. The ETS reports directly to the Employment Training Specialist Manager of Supported Employment. The ETS will provide vocational education, assessment, support and liaison services for adults with serious mental illness in order to place and maintain these individuals in competitive employment in the community.
The Employment Training Specialist is responsible for assessing the skills and desires of Consumers, securing compatible employment within the community, providing on-site training, and continuing with follow-up supports and services for both the Consumer and the employer.
