Berks Personnel Network, a division of Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., is searching for an Employment Specialist. The Employment Specialist provides assessment, job development, training and follow-up support for assigned individuals. Responsibilities include networking and actively seeking competitive employment opportunities for individuals with challenges. Must be a self-starter willing to work a flexible schedule and have the ability to work independently within the community.
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, flexible. These are great work hours with paid holidays off starting day one of employment!!
Full-time staff are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and sick days, as well as tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) Plan.
Threshold provides comprehensive paid training for all employees.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field preferred OR associate's degree in human services or closely related field with two years' experience in relevant field OR high school diploma/GED with four years' experience in relevant field.
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Bilingual is a plus
- Valid PA Driver's License
- PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
- Pre-employment Drug Screen
- FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services)
- Child Abuse Clearance
- PA Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
Skills Required

- Associate's degree in human services or closely related field with two years' relevant experience
