Employment Services Specialist- STEPs (ESS-STEPs)

Payrate $19 - $21.50. Opportunities for pay increase is based on education.
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm with flexibility.  Must be able to flex around 2.5 hours each week to be able to assist with a supportive employment project.

• Enjoy getting out & about with individuals in a variety of supported job sites throughout the area. 
• Empower individuals through work geared skill-building, including production, stocking, folding, cleaning, as well as helping to achieve personal goals.
• Lead hands-on activities through classroom education and on the site job education.
• Work together as a team to accomplish goals.
• Provide encouragement and empowerment in those you assist.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business or related course of study and one year of related experience,
• or Associates degree program in Human Services, Business or related course of study and two years of related experience or High School diploma with three years of related experience. 
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience in job placement and/or a broad knowledge of industrial and commercial work opportunities and or as a Vocational Counselor would be helpful. 
• An Agency approvable driver’s license is required.  Must have a working vehicle and willingness to drive personal vehicle.
