We are seeking a Paralegal to support the Wealth Management Employment Law team, partnering with attorneys with employee relations matters, internal investigations, litigation, and regulatory inquiries along with gathering and organizing related data for purposes of analysis and reporting.

What you'll do in the role:
> Assist attorneys with employment law matters, including employee relations issues, internal investigations, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
> Prepare employment-related documentation, including litigation materials and responses to administrative charges, and support maintenance of related records.
> Support attorneys in ensuring employment matters are handled in a consistent and defensible manner and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
> Collect, organize, and preserve documents and data in connection with internal investigations, litigation, and regulatory requests.
> Assist in managing employment litigation and arbitration matters, including tracking and making progress to meet multiple deadlines while coordinating with inside and outside counsel.
> Support responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations, in coordination with Compliance and other relevant stakeholders.
> Maintain matter management systems, including tracking document requests, deadlines, and overall case status.
> Compile and maintain reports and trackers relating to investigations, litigation, and employment-related matters.
> Assist with preparation of materials and reporting for internal and external meetings related to investigations, litigation and regulatory matters and to enhance the efficiency of the team.
> Provide support on ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives involving Legal, HR, and Compliance.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $45.68 and $74.52 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
