Job Description

The role

We are a market-leading, full-service, global employment team, routinely advising global corporations and financial institutions on the most sensitive, high value matters. We provide strategic, decisive advice to deliver effective business solutions across an enviable range of mandates.

Our work is strategically important to the Firm's ability to offer a full client service and is typically split in equal portions between advisory, litigation and corporate/transactional.

We advise on the full spectrum of employment issues. These include litigation and dispute resolution, works councils and unions, day to day advisory and employment compliance and the employment aspects of all types of corporate transactions.

We are also expert in more specialist areas that are increasingly relevant to our clients, such as remuneration reform, senior managers regime, regulatory investigations and corporate governance.

One of the major attractions of the group is the variety of work and opportunity to work with senior client stakeholders. You will be called upon to advise on high profile litigation, investigations and risk management.

You will play a key role in the delivery of the largest and most complex transactions (often multi-jurisdictional), works council and union negotiations and on the employment aspects of all types of corporate transactions.

Culture is key to our clients and you will help us assist them to address employment aspects of ESG and D&I initiatives and employment compliance in the regulated sector.

Who you will work with

You will be joining a team of 3 partners, and 11 other employment lawyers. The team has the benefit of being part of an international Employment network with over 80 employment lawyers. This is a chance to work with senior people in a highly driven collegiate team and to accelerate your development across a wide range of employment law issues.

You will have the chance to manage work on a pan-European or global basis for companies looking to us to act as their single legal advisor. You will also work alongside our dedicated Tax, Pensions and Incentives teams to aid in the delivery a full suite of advice to our clients.

  • discrimination and equal opportunities.
  • new and proposed employment legislation.
  • downsizing and dismissals.
