As a member of the Employee Technology Services team at Irving Oil, your role will be an integral part of our Information Technology (IT) Service and Operations team. In this role you will have an opportunity to work with experienced professionals who support the network within our organization.
As a member of the team, you will focus on:
Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution for software and hardware issues that vary from basic to moderate complexity
Provide technical assistance on Microsoft (MS) Windows operating systems, MS Office suite (including MS Outlook), and Web Browsers
Provide technical assistance on mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads
Troubleshoot the cause of problems, not just the symptoms, and taking action to prevent problems from recurring
Logging of all calls into an IT Service Management Ticketing tool with clear and concise language
Interacting with employees in-person at our Home Office.

Your Experience:
Currently enrolled in an IT related program
Windows-based certifications such as MCP or MCSE is an asset
Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and enrolled for next academic semester.
