The Role

iSchool, a leading innovator in the EdTech sector, is looking for a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining healthy employer-employee relationships across the organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and management alike, providing guidance on best practices and promoting a culture of open communication.

Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances and conflict resolution, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance-related matters.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs on employee relations best practices.
  • Analyze employee feedback and trends to recommend initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations matters, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and revise policies and programs that support a healthy work culture.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive attitude and a dedication to fostering a positive workplace culture.
