iSchool, a frontrunner in the EdTech industry, is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in cultivating a supportive and engaging workplace for our employees. The Senior Employee Relations Specialist will leverage their extensive expertise to guide our employee relations strategy, ensuring that employee concerns are addressed effectively and proactively.
In this position, you will work closely with management and employees to navigate complex employee relations issues, provide guidance on best practices, and drive initiatives aimed at promoting a positive organizational culture. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and recommending solutions that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement at iSchool.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Provide strategic counsel to management on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflict.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for managers and employees on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
- Analyze employee feedback, conduct surveys, and compile reports to recommend actionable improvements in employee relations strategies.
- Foster a culture of open communication by building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement programs that enhance the overall employee experience and promote a positive work environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in employee relations and labor laws to ensure the company's policies are current and effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations or related HR functions.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with HR information systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
