The Role

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Employee Relations Senior Manager to manage several Employee Relations Business Advisory and partner with HR aligned to one or more lines of business representing complex Employee Relations matters.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Employee Relations operations for one or more lines of business
  • Provide strategic direction to enable the development and delivery of effective services, products, and resources supporting employees, management, and human resource groups
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for development and implementation of Employee Relations plans and programs in accordance with internal policy and labor-law requirements, and ensure proactive and effective risk management strategies
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Employee Relations team to resolve workplace issues
  • Evaluate strategies and support enhancement of Employee Relations model through effective consultation, analysis of data and trends, and interpretation of metrics to improve business decisions, internal leadership training, and talent assessment
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, consultants, managers, and leaders from various lines of business for effective functioning of the Employee Relations functional area
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Employee Relations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Employee Relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexity
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with senior or executive leadership
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex employee relations problems
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Knowledge and understanding of human resources analytics, trending and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of human resources policies and processes
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams

Job Expectations:

  • Manage and develop Employee Relations operations, Accommodations and Employee Assistance programs for Wells Fargo India
  • Manage stakeholders across India and India and US
  • SLA, QA, QC and metrics management
  • Responsible for Accommodations and solution for special needs of the employees
  • Manage various committee’s as per the regulations
  • Good with labour law and the proposed wage code
  • Provide strategic direction to enable the development and delivery of effective services, products, and resources supporting employees, management, and human resource groups
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for development and implementation of Employee Relations plans and programs in accordance with internal policy and labor-law requirements, and ensure proactive and effective risk management strategies
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Employee Relations team to resolve workplace issues
  • Evaluate strategies and support enhancement of Employee Relations model through effective consultation, analysis of data and trends, and interpretation of metrics to improve business decisions, internal leadership training, and talent assessment
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, consultants, managers, and leaders from various lines of business for effective functioning of the Employee Relations functional area
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Employee Relations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Review and analyze extremely complex Employee Relations problems of a diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth review of enterprise policy and procedures, labor law legislation, and other intangible variance factors
  • Evaluate strategies and support enhancement of Employee Relations model through effective consultation, analysis of Global ER data and trends, and interpretation of metrics to improve business decisions
  • Lead Employee Relations projects and teams, or serve as a peer leader across Employee Relations.
