To protect our culture and help our team stay connected, we require overlapping hours for everyone. While many roles may function from anywhere in the world—see individual job listing for more—team members who live outside the Pacific time zone must be comfortable working early in the morning or late at night; all full-time employees must work at least six hours between 8 am and 5 pm Pacific time each workday.

The Role
Come join our People Team at Modern Health and be a key architect of our shaping our Great Places to Work culture in your role as a People Experience Partner.
NOTE: This role is an in-person role that will be expected to work in our San Francisco office four to five days a week.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and innovative Employee Experience Partner to join our dynamic People Team. A person who is having their best day at work when they get to interact with people all across the company, create and execute programs and events designed to bring people together both in person and virtually, and is focused on enhancing every step along the way of our employee lifecycle.
You will report to our Chief People Officer and work closely with the People Partner, Recruiting, and People Ops teams to shape a culture built on the tenets of high performance and high empathy that allows us to deliver against our vision of making mental health a strength and priority for all.
What You’ll Do
- Manage our office and co-working strategy including being on-site and leading all aspects of the day to day running of our San Francisco office as well as evolving our co-working strategy (we currently have co-working days in SF, LA, and NYC)
- Lead our new hire onboarding program
- Provide support for our Employee Resource Groups and continue to evolve our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy
- Define & implement our Employee Experience strategy across the entire employee journey - includes fostering connection and culture in a remote environment, consulting with internal teams to help them develop their own connection strategies, leading our recognition programs, and developing strategies to help employees celebrate key milestone events
- Ensure all employees have access to the information needed to do their job by managing our internal communications platform, Modbase (powered by Simpplr)
- Lead our internal company-wide meeting strategy including working with leaders across the organization to develop content for our bi-weekly All Hands and Town Hall style company meetings and continuing to find innovative ways to use these important touch points to build and reinforce our culture
- As a member of the People team, uphold and promote Modern Health’s values and handle sensitive employee information as needed
Who You Are
- 5+ years of Employee Experience, Wellbeing and DEI experience with proven experience in developing and implementing creative and effective employee engagement strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing DEIB programs and initiatives including supporting employee resource groups (ERGs) and other community-building initiatives
- Incredible project management, organizational, and execution skills
- Experience in change management and the ability to drive cultural change within an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work collaboratively across Modern Health
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop new programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Ranges are not necessarily indicative of the associated starting pay range in other locations. Depending on the scope of the role, some ranges are indicative of On Target Earnings (OTE) and includes both base pay and commission at 100% achievement of established targets.

$101,500—$119,400 USD
