CloudFit is looking for a hands-on Employee Experience Operations Manager to join us onsite in Lynchburg, VA. You'll own the day-to-day execution of our benefits, leave, wellness, rewards & recognition, and employee events programs, working closely with our VP of Employee Experience & Wellness. This role is for someone who spots gaps and fixes them without waiting to be asked, but also takes clear direction and runs with it. You'll have real ownership, room to bring in automation and AI tools, and a direct line to leadership when something's worth flagging.
What You'll Own
Benefits Administration
- Analyze monthly medical and pharmacy claims for trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Audit and reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
- Resolve eligibility, enrollment, and carrier file feed issues.
- Process qualifying life events and benefit changes.
- Administer COBRA with our third-party vendors.
- Help lead annual Open Enrollment.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 benefits support to employees.
Compensation Support
- Prepare compensation documentation and Total Compensation Statements for promotions, transfers, and market adjustments.
- Initiate compensation workflows in our HRIS.
Leave & Time Off
- Manage leave programs end-to-end: FMLA, state leave, parental, disability, military, and other company-sponsored leave.
- Be the steady, go-to contact for employees navigating a leave.
- Coordinate with our third-party leave administrator and keep records audit-ready.
Rewards & Recognition
- Run our Service Award, Swag, Celebration, and Recognition programs.
- Administer our Rewards & Recognition platform (AwardCo).
Employee Events
- Handle event logistics: vendor contracts, W-9s, certificates of insurance, supplies, and RSVPs.
- Own event communications and vendor coordination.
- Partner with Facilities onsite; run virtual events independently.
Improving How We Work
- Partner with stakeholders and vendors to keep programs running smoothly.
- Improve workflows and expand self-service with People Operations.
- Build and maintain clear SOPs for the function.
- Bring us your ideas — we want continuous improvement, not just maintenance.
- Spot risks and trends, and turn data into dashboards the VP can act on.
- Use Workday, Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, and other approved tools to work smarter.
Being There for Employees
- Respond to employee questions quickly and warmly, with care for sensitive information.
- Solve problems with a customer-first mindset, and know when to loop in the right person.
- Build genuine, trusted relationships across the company.

Don't need to check every box — if most of this fits, apply.
- You spot clunky processes and fix or flag them without being asked.

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Health Promotion/Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience.

- Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills.
- Sharp analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- HRIS experience — Workday preferred.
