Qualys is in search of a dynamic and adept individual to assume the position of Employee Experience & Internal Communications Partner. As an integral member of our HR Team, you will wield significant influence in shaping and executing internal communication strategies, nurturing a positive and engaging employee experience, and supporting initiatives that contribute to our exceptional and inclusive work culture. This role, based in our Foster City, CA office, is at the individual contributor level.  

This is a hybrid position, on-site 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Employee Engagement and Experience: 

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement initiatives that enhance the employee experience and foster a positive, inclusive company culture. 

- Create and execute programs recognizing and celebrating employee achievements, milestones, and special events. 

- Plan and execute events as necessary 

-Build our culture and engagement calendar/ budget  

- Cultivate the Qualys Community by facilitating regular interaction and encouraging employee participation in communication channels. 

- Provide support to Qualys's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), enabling employees to learn, grow, and contribute to our inclusive culture. 

- Strengthen our social impact program, Qualys Cares, by identifying opportunities for employees to give back to the community and establishing relationships with organizations for volunteer events. 

- Manage vendor relationships for internal swag and company events, coordinating efforts with internal teams such as Facilities and Marketing. 

- Evaluate results against goals, deliver executive summaries, and drive continuous improvements related to communications, swag, and engagement. 

- Collaborate with other HR Team stakeholders, providing resources and materials that support their programs and align with HR Team initiatives. 

Internal Communications Strategy: 

- Develop and deliver consistent, impactful internal communications campaigns, messages, and materials to keep employees informed and engaged. 

- Ensure all internal communications are clear, concise, and tailored to different audiences within the organization. 

- Utilize various channels, including email, intranet, newsletters, town halls, and social media, to deliver effective communication and drive employee engagement. 

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create employee-specific social content. 

- Manage the team's calendar of upcoming announcements to ensure coordination across the organization. 

- Work with People Team Leadership to create communications around total rewards, DEI, and compensation communications. 

- Foster communication and interactions among the wider employee base within Qualys. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, human resources, or a related field preferred. 

- Proven experience (5+ years) in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles. 

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail. 

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, driving innovative internal communications initiatives. 

- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

- Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement, change management, and organizational culture. 

- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software is a plus. 

- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience leading end-to-end program management and large-scale efforts across multiple functions, departments, and offices. 

- Ability and enthusiasm to navigate challenges related to startup mentalities, iterating, pivoting, but always executing. 

- Strong team player with a willingness to contribute across various collaborative projects.

Annual Salary Guidelines: $65,000 - $85,000
