Assistance Plus is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and energetic individual to join the growing Human Resources team as an Employee Experience Coordinator! This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, located at our Benton office.

The Employee Experience Coordinator (EEC) is responsible for enhancing the overall employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through engagement, recognition, retention, and offboarding. This position supports initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, strengthens employee engagement, and promotes organizational values. The Employee Experience Coordinator works collaboratively with leadership and staff to create a workplace where employees feel supported, connected, valued, and empowered to succeed. 

This position will coordinate employee engagement programs and activities, develop surveys for feedback, spearhead wellness initiatives, plan and execute employee events, conduct exit/stay interviews, and provide support for other recognition, retention, and wellness initiatives. General scanning and filing tasks will also be part of this role. 

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, employee engagement, communications, customer service, recruiting or a related field is required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
