Employee Development Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)

The Boeing Company’s Manufacturing & Safety, Manufacturing Excellence Team is currently seeking Employee Development Specialists to join our team in Renton or Everett, WA. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Level specialists to find the best fit for this position.
Position Responsibilities:

Identify business specific learning objectives and adapt curriculum/video content and delivery methods
-
Oversee curriculum development, review of course content and instructional materials, testing and system access requirements
-
Deploy development tools and monitor implementation and performance outcomes
-
Consult with business partners on development opportunities by analyzing, planning, implementing and evaluating learning strategies and solutions
-
Define project scope and recommend deliverables, budget and resources
-
Identify potential issues that impact performance and lead the performance analysis and development of improvement recommendations
-
Apply industry-leading adult learning theories to the adaptive learning approach needed for the Boeing employee audience
-
Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and other groups to develop content and guide course creation and delivery
-
Interface with others to provide design options and to recommend solutions
-
Plan, design, manage and produce complex 2D and 3D graphics, animations and interactive multimedia design solutions
-
Edit and produce broadcast quality videos using current technology and software (Premiere, Storyline, HTML5, etc.)

Deliver error-free video content and assess effectiveness based on learning objectives
-
Conceptualize, research, modify, and coordinate graphics, full color animations and interactive electronic media that will support technical training procedures and design solutions

Adjust schedules based on customer needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
3+ years of experience using curriculum management and/or Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies, systems and tools
-
3+ years of experience designing and development of training content, to include courseware and curricula
-
3+ years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
-
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in learning or curriculum development
-
Advanced degrees or certifications in Curriculum Development, Instructional Systems Design, Training, Training Technology, or other relevant fields
-
Experience in the creation of Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) IPs and REDARS drawings
-
Experience the ADDIE process
-
Experience with Adobe Video Suite and Articulate Storyline
-
Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Fabrication
-
Experience consulting with and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to develop relevant requirements and effective content
-
Experience driving and leading training and development projects through implementation
-
Experience interpreting and explaining complex information to a range of audiences
-
Experience independently managing tasks to meet deadlines
-
Excellent grammar/writing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy while efficiently completing content deliverables
