Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Associate Account Manager to join our growing team in Costa Mesa, CA.  The Associate Account Manager (AAM) supports the Employee Benefits service team by assisting with day-to-day account servicing, renewal activities, enrollment support, and administrative functions. This role is responsible for processing service requests accurately and efficiently while adhering to department workflows, procedures, and service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Employee Benefits Account Managers with day-to-day client service activities, including eligibility changes, enrollment updates, billing inquiries, claim issues, carrier follow-up, documentation requests, and general account maintenance.

  • Process service requests and accurately document all account activity within the EPIC Agency Management System according to agency standards.

  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, clients, and internal team members to obtain information, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of service deliverables.

  • Assist with renewal preparation and execution by:

    • Obtaining carrier renewal requirements and materials

    • Requesting updated census and underwriting information from clients

    • Managing renewal applications and questionnaires

    • Preparing draft renewal presentations and proposals

    • Creating draft renewal correspondence for client review and distribution

    • Assisting with marketing and renewal deliverables as needed

  • Support open enrollment activities by:

    • Assisting with enrollment timelines and project tracking

    • Preparing enrollment materials and employee communications

    • Coordinating with carriers and benefits administration vendors

    • Supporting enrollment meetings and post-enrollment follow-up activities

  • Assist with new client implementation activities, including carrier paperwork, enrollment setup, data collection, and documentation.

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other client-facing or internal deliverables as requested.

  • Maintain accurate electronic files, documentation, and activity records to support compliance, service continuity, and audit requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance the client and team member experience.

  • Participate in department meetings, training initiatives, system updates, and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Prior customer service, insurance, benefits administration, or account management support experience preferred.

  • Valid California Life & Health Insurance License preferred, or ability to obtain within one year from date of hire.

  • Employee benefits, insurance carrier, or human resources experience preferred.

  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.

  • EPIC Agency Management System (preferred).

  • Benefits administration platforms and carrier portals (preferred).

  • Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools.

  • Strong data entry, keyboarding, and document management skills.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and business applications.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $25 - $34. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
