Job DescriptionAs Homologation Engineer the candidate will work in the Homologation team reporting directly to the Technical Leader of this Area.
Responsibilities:
To deal with the certification of the vehicle related to power-train requirements:
- Exhaust emissions.
- Fuel consumption.
- Engine power.
As Homologation Engineer she/he will be responsible to witness the official approval tests at the manufacturer's laboratory according to Idiada's procedures, to prepare the related approval dossiers and to manage the delivery of the official approval certificates granted by the Approval Authorities of Spain.
QualificationsProfile:
- Good knowledge on emission regulations for passenger cars and approval of vehicles in general
- Minimum 1 year of experience in powertrain development and/or testing.
- Excellent planning & collaboration skills.
Education:
- Degree in mechanical engineering (or similar).
Languages:
- Good level of English.
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
