Basic Function
The Emerging Services Specialist is a rotationally designed role that will gain exposure to the entire Emerging Services new product lifecycle, from ideation and concept validation through pilots all the way to commercialization and scaling. The Emerging Services Specialist should expect to provide operational, strategy, and coordination support for key Emerging Services initiatives, including fintech partnerships, proof-of-concept testing, and product commercialization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to capture, track, and document key decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, requirements, and action items; ensure updates are accurate and communicated to appropriate stakeholders.
- Partner with Emerging Services teams on assigned tasks and initiatives that support product incubation and commercialization efforts.
- Update and maintain internal documents, job aids, procedures, and delivery artifacts as processes evolve, including recurring materials and reports updated on a defined cadence.
- Provide Emerging Services reporting support by tracking updates, deliverables, milestones, pilots, and timelines from initial definition through completion.
- Schedule and support client advisory meetings and standing forums by preparing agendas, tracking meeting-level follow-ups, and coordinating materials to support ongoing project coordination and progress.
- Assist with basic inquiries, navigation questions, and initial issue triage by following documented processes and scripts; route issues appropriately and monitor follow-ups through resolution.

Position Specifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; additional education or coursework in business, product, or project coordination preferred.
Experience
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Able to synthesize inputs (decisions, risks, dependencies, and requirements) into clear updates and “so what” implications for stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking by framing problems, evaluating tradeoffs, and translating project data into recommendations that help teams prioritize and execute.
- Prior exposure to tasks and initiatives that support product incubation and commercialization efforts is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Understanding of the financial services industry and associated products.
- Eagerness to learn and go the extra mile.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams to support documentation, tracking, reporting, and coordination activities.
- Comfort using Copilot or similar assistive tools to support drafting, summarization, and documentation tasks with guidance.
- Willingness and ability to learn new tools, processes, templates, and delivery frameworks as part of onboarding and ongoing support.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with project, product, technology, and operations partners.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and consistency in applying documented processes.
- Basic knowledge of technical integrations. Advanced technical or subject-matter expertise is not required; success is driven by reliability, organization, and learning agility.
