Position Overview

Responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy and the sales results for the territory. Orchestrating team effort, leveraging partners and driving sales for the assigned territory, through the channel ecosystem, to fulfill customer needs. Plans and drive all sales activities including planning, managing forecasts, building the pipeline and executing on policies. Collaborate across organizations and engage appropriate internal resources from Autodesk. Promote a team culture that embraces Autodesk’s values. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sale, and cross-selling.

You will report to the Sales Manager and will work with our Inside Sales Team, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales. This role will be based in Bogotá – Colombia.  With 50% or more travel. The region you will cover is Central America & Caribbean.

Responsibilities

  • Generate incremental new business as well as maintains and maximizes existing revenue stream

  • Create new business by creatively expanding existing accounts

  • Manage renewals in main accounts

  • Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account

  • Create and execute a business plan which includes target customer segments, resources, and which solves business needs for the defined Territory

  • Drive sales opportunities with internal Autodesk sales teams, and Autodesk Ecosystem to build, maintain & grow opportunity pipeline within the assigned territory

  • Plan and execute selling strategies to grow the revenue base and/or adoption cycle for select product(s) for the defined Territory

  • Strong relationships with customers/partners, and other internal sales teams

  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management

  • Establish and sustain effective long-term customer relationships

  • Help to create effective and innovative proposals that link Autodesk’s solution to customer business objectives and quantify business outcomes

  • Play a key role in customer meetings with the account team

  • Work with partners to generate business and ensure the consistent implementation of company initiatives

  • Assist reseller in developing sales and marketing plans related to Autodesk’ industry solutions

  • Collaborate with marketing team to run/attend events in line with company growth strategies, become familiar with sales promotions, and provide guidance on business planning on an ongoing basis

  • Collaborate with other internal organizations and coordinate internal resources as needed

  • Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities

  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operation and efficiency within sales and the supporting organizations

  • Act as a representative of Autodesk and give presentations to client groups

  • Determine positioning, identify business requirements, and utilize relevant forums and associations to increase awareness of assigned product(s)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales processes and selling methodologies

  • 5+ years of field sales experience at an Enterprise software/SaaS organization

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Travel 50% or more of the time

  • Work as a team member as well leading the expanded team

  • Consistently exceeds targets

  • Bilingual or Native Proficiency in both Spanish and English
